For David Nolan Gallery’s 26th year exhibiting at Art Basel internationally, the gallery's ABMB presentation will reflect the spectrum of its global program, with artists’ origins spanning Guatemala to Baghdad, Iraq. A highlight will be an installation of erotic works on paper in a mysterious, secluded room within the booth.

  • New paintings by Vian Sora (b. 1976 in Baghdad, Iraq) further the artist's abstract, gestural distillation of her experience growing up under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein.

  • Sculptural works by Chakaia Booker (b. 1953, Newark, New Jersey), a staple of the 1980s East Village art scene perhaps best known for her pioneering use of recycled rubber tires. Booker's rubber-tire sculptures evoke political and social aspects, including the patterns of the tires alluding to African scarification; the exploitation tied to the collection of rubber; and the history of low wages African American workers received in the automobile industry.

  • New paintings by Paulo Pasta (b. 1959 in Ariranha, São Paulo, Brazil)

  • A group of 1960s-70s works on paper by Georg Baselitz

  • A salon style selection of master drawings by Enrico Baj, Georg Baselitz, Bruce Conner, Joseph Cornell, Carroll Dunham, George Grosz, Willem de Kooning, Barry Le Va, Sherrie Levine, Richard Long, Robert Mangold, Brice Marden, Giorgio Morandi, Jim Nutt, Robert Ryman, and Ray Yoshida
